Xena ignored all the dogs anyway but did manage to greet every human. She is just not a "group dog" dog at this point in her life. She will be one year old on November 3rd.
I can imagine dog parks can be nice if only PEOPLE would keep them clean and filth free. Not evern ample cans, scoopers, and bags are an incentive. The problem I have is finding a place where Xena can legally roam off-leash in my neck of the woods. Sigh! |
I am glad to hear that there are other dogs that are not "group" dogs. For some reason, no matter how often I take Sophie out, she is much more interested in the humans. She gets nervous around other dogs, to the point of being ill. It is not that she has never been around other dogs, she has, but she just doesn't like them.

We tried the dog park a few time, and I agree, it was not that great, and some people bring their larger dogs in too. Once there was a Golden puppy (cute, sweet, and very active). It tried to play with Sophie by jumping on her. She growned, and the puppy hid under the picnic table.
