I like to give Sophie the crunchier treats when I can because I believe it's better for her teeth and gums by way of cleaning them and not leaving soft food particles on her teeth. She like the AKC chicken or liver and rice training treats which are kind of soft but I only give them once in a while. She likes tiny bits of carrot and apple, too. A bakery I use here bakes doggie biscuits also and gives them to Sophie for free.
