OH DEAR, OH DEAR...a TACK?
Yes, I have the same problem here, is it a Yorkie's nature to consume anything in site??? Paper, plastic, paperclips, pieces of pinecones and twigs, bugs, flowers, leaves, feathers, pencils.
As a former poodle owner, I NEVER had this problem with them.
Anything that is dropped is consumed, sometimes I am able to remove from her mouth and other times I dont have the time, and down it goes. Twice she has had diahrria, I am sure its something she has consumed outdoors, but within half a day, she is back to normal stool.
I should have named her Hoover!
I had never heard of the cotton ball trick, interesting, and will ask my vet,
just in case.
