Default Feeding, toilet training and crating.

Hi

I got my new puppy Toby on Thursday he is 11 weeks old.

On Saturday morning I came down to him having a fit!!!! I rushed him to the vets, the vets gave him a glucose drip and within 15 minutes was very well, he came home 4 hours later as bright as a button. The vet said stress could have caused it, as he had his jabs on friday.

The vet has currently advised me to leave food down so that he can graze as and when he wants.

He is paper trained and is crated.

A couple of questions...

1) when should I start taking him outside to toliet? as because he is feeding when he wants he toilets when he wants.

2) At the moment he is in the crate all day and I get him out in the evening for a play and cuddle. What is the best way the crate train him, currently he barks for about 10 minutes after a fuss in the crate, I never go to him whn he is barking. I play and fuss him during the day in the crate.

Any advice would be great
