We took our lil Xena to a nice dog park today. The park has a separate section for small dogs and is very nice with a grass field, benches, water fountains, restrooms, trash cans, pooper scoopers, and plastic doggie bags. Oh, and lots of tennis balls for all the dogs to chase. Parking is adequate and very close. After about 40 mins or so we had to pack up and leave in disgust! Why you might ask? Can you guess? PEOPLE! The dog owners, er, guardians (the PC moniker) are so darn irresponsible it makes me sick. I saw pile after pile after pile of doggie poo! I saw dogs pooping right in front of their guaradians. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS! Apalling, disguting, un effing believable! I tried to send a message by grabbing a pooper scooper and disposing of a few piles near our bench. But not one single person followed suit. No more dog parks for us and our lil Xena! Just too nasty! Grrrrrr!

You never know what your dog will pick up at a Dog Park, prefer not to visit them.
