While Riley is still staying with my sister, until I move at the end of the month, she says he's started something a bit weird with their mini dachsund, who is 7 yrs old. Riley is 3. Once they've gotten up in the morning, and often during the days, Riley will walk up to Oscar and lick him on the top of his head, then go off and play. I haven't seen this yet, but I sure would love to. My sister's been trying to capture it on film for me, but Riley is too quick. She says Oscar the dachsund is bewildered by this, and just stares at Riley as he walks away. Apparently, Oscar's expression is priceless each time.
