my house is divided on the subject. I get the flu shot. I worked in a hospital and I know that the vaccine covers something like 15 strains and I could get strain 16, but I won't get it as bad. I've had a bad flu and thought I was going to die. Missed a week of work. I won't get the swine flu shot however, I think one flu shot it enough. In 1972, my grandma got the flu, then pneumonia and died.
My DH refuses to get the flu shot. He doesn't get sick, and hasn't had the flu.
