I have a 3 year old male who is so scared of fireworks! He shakes, trembles, cries, and tries to hide under furniture. When I mentioned this to my vet he reccomended that I give him children's Benadryl and it worked! This was the first 4th of July that he was actually calm. He didn't want to go outside while it was going on, but in the house he was calm and sleepy.
