How sad for your friend but now she needs to go back to the drawing board with her contract so she can protect any future pups.
You are so very right! She will have her attorney re-write it. She is the kind of person that always welcomes you into her home despite any situation she may be going through. Just a nice person all over and her dogs are her kids. It also makes me feel powerless as a friend to see her going through this. This person was so very deceiving. She stopped the payment on the check she gave her. She does not think she has any obligation to at least try to explain what could have happened to that little puppy while under care. You are also right about learning the right answers. She brought pictures of her other dog who passed in an accident. I am learning not to trust people as i keep wondering my self if her dog who passed on an accident at only 2 years old was neglected or if that was really the reason the dog passed. After they get it all resolved i will know if i can or not disclose the name of the person , if i can i sure will warn every single breeder and rescue , even pet stores about them. I feel like doing anything to protect any puppy from her.
