I would be inclined to think Reggie has developed a food intolerance/allergy to his current dry dog food. I would consider switching to a holistic food with ingredients that are different from what he's eating at this time. If the Royal Canin has chicken or lamb, maybe you could try the Natural Balance L.I.D diet with sweet potato and venison or potato and duck. Most likely Reggie hasn't been exposed to these proteins and hasn't developed any sensitivities to them at this point. Pepto is good for infrequent use, but I wouldn't want to use it regularly.
