So I've been feeding Reggie and Sophie white rice and chicken baby food for about a week and it's done wonders for Reggie's diarrhea. I realized they were getting hungry, kind of like when we eat Chinese food, so I decided to give them a little of their Royal Canin dry food to supplement. That seemed ok for a couple of days but this morning Reggie has diarrhea again. He's acting fine and eating and drinking well.
I'm getting frustrated. I give him Pepto when he has diarrhea which seems to help calm it down. I don't know if the dry dog food is causing a problem? It's the same kind I've fed them for a couple of years that never caused a problem before.
Also, they are both getting bitten by fleas since we moved from Oklahoma City to San Antonio. I've never had a flea problem with them before so I don't know if it's the city we live in or the new apartment that seems pretty immaculate and I vacuum it regularly?
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on the diarrhea?
