Lordy, those stories scare me.
I'm not angry at the coyotes, I know why they are coming out, this area has been clearing away their homes. It's sad to watch how fast my nook away from the city has turned into a mini city of it's own. We see tons of deer and hear the coyotes, etc. I just didn't expect to see one that early in the afternoon and it made it all real to me.
Someone let out some wild Asian cat into the park near us, I cannot remember the name I'll have to ask hubby, but it's as big as a dog! It was only a rumor for awhile until hubby saw it while running the trail and his aunt and friend saw it one weekend while they were doing the trail. I haven't heard of it attacking anyone's pet or even coming out of the creek area, it has plenty of rabbits and squirrels to hunt.
That's a whole other bucket of mess, getting an animal from other countries because they are 'cute' and then releasing them when they get too big
