I am sorry you have having some trouble and I am sure the fact that your DH is getting upset is making you more upset...
How old is your baby? Does he have full run of the house? When you take him outside..Do you know that he might have to go or do you go on a time schedule? Usually when they start to sniff around thats the time to take them out to pee... after you see them drink water its best to take them outside about 10 mins.. The key is to watch him. take him to the same spot each time. I would wait him out too.. wait there until he goes pee and praise him after he does it. even if he pees just a little. he will get the hint after you repeat it. Its hard work to potty train, a lot of time and effort has to be put in it.
