I don't know if I ever posted this, but a few years ago,before I got Max, a bought a flea collar for a cat hanging around our back yard, that day I opened the package and since I could not find the cat anywhere, left the collar on my nightstand so I would not forget and do it the next day, much to my surprise, the chemicals on the collar, had eaten away the varnish on my nightstand and I still have that mark to remind me to never them on my pets
