I was also ignorant of puppymills but when I went to pickup my first Bloodhound I soon figured it out. Problem was I bought her anyway cuz I couldn't leave her there. Three years later we had to have her put down as she became agressive with my 18 month old granddaughter.

I still have a bloodhound and my precious Yorkie. However, things were much different when I got these two. The best thing to do is educate yourself and hopefully eliminate the pain that comes along with buying a puppymill puppy. Good Luck!
