I'm the head teller in one of the larger banks in my town. We have had crazy stuff happen before,but nothing like this. You are to be commended on your honesty. I have found over the years there are more honest people out there than most would think. I can't figure for the life of me how someone could mistake the drive-thru (i'm assuming tube) for the night depository.
We have our local Dollar General Store business accounts and I am sure if their audit dept finds out someone will really be in trouble. We have to report to them if the deposits are off even by a penny. But even if someone dishonest got the money and kept it surveillance cameras would have caught them.
