I am so mad. Why do people pay 2,000 for a dog from a breeder that claims to be AKC. Any responsible dog would not let a dog go home so early.
They think everything is ok because this dog is eating....OMG.....I hate this.
My question is does AKC have a standard for when the dog should be able to go home? 12 to 14 weeks? |
Sandy being an AKC breeder does not make you a responsible breeder. As long as said breeders comply with the rules, regulations and their record keeping is in order that is all the AKC is concerned about. They do not police breeders breeding practices, unless there is question on the parentage of puppies....
There are many people out there that think that it is ok to buy a toy puppy at 8 or 9 weeks of age, heck I did too. All you can do is educate them, some get it and some don't.
