Since you obtained your pup at 8 weeks of age, her concern is hyperglycemia, a bit too early for him to be away from his mom. I would make sure he is getting 4 meals a day or making sure that there is food available for him to eat all time. I would make sure that you have NutriCal, Puppy Cal or Nutri Drops on hand. Make sure he's eating and drinking well, not being over handled and getting plenty of rest. Make sure that he isn't taken out in public until he has his full complement of vaccinations.
