Yes, most vets will do this. Maxi just got neutered last friday and they did it for him also. He is also very healthy and around 4 pounds and they took his blood work to make sure that all was well to give him the anesthesia. Its also to cover their buts should something happen, which isnt likely if the blood work comes back normal.
