Welcome to Yorkietalk, and it sounds like you will be a great Yorkie mom. So many people buy them because they look so cute in a purse, but in reality they take almost as much time as a newborn baby! That can be really rewarding to some, and frustrating to others. Congrats on your new little bundle. A tip that helped me was that I bought a bundle of 4 relieving blankets at Target, and had the breeder touch each one, and rub it on mama, and Joey slept with one blanket each night. If he peed on it, I could wash it, and put it back in the plastic bag with the other blankets where I hoped it would pick up momma's scent again. I don't know if it helped Joey, but it helped me! We had a small zippered crate that I kept next to my bed, and I could hear him easily at night and placed him on a pee pad, then back in his crate. The zipper allowed me to stick my hand in the crate, and that was enough to settle him down and get him back to sleep.
