Peanut does it often. It kinda sounds like a honking weezing....At first I thought he had a collapsed trechea, but I took him in for xrays and it was negative. The vet said it was just a reverse snezze and it is common for the yorkies.

Peanut will usually have his "Attacks" sometimes when he drinks water, when he is really really excited or sometimes just out of no where. They will range from 1 sec to a couple mins. When Peanut is having one of his attacks I will drop what I am doing and go to him, I wont pick him up or move him I will just rub his throat up and down and talk to him. That helps ALOT!!

I would take Coral to the vet just to get that checked out. Just to rule out everything else that he could be.
