Thanks for posting this thread. I have spent years clipping the nails of my cats and dogs, but really appreciated the video refresher course (found it when I also googled the topic in Yorkie Talk); I had no idea that there would be a black dot in the nail as I came closer to the quick. Never noticed that! Now I think I will be able to trim shorter without as many worries.
