i went through a low cost clinic and it costed $35 for toby's neuter. The vet was wonderful and the "nurses???" were great. they all loved toby and were very concerned and had great senses of humour. When i picked him up the owner of the place walked be back personally to get my baby out of his cage, he was laughing because toby didnt make a peep until he saw me, and then he was laying it on thick like he was in pain
. also the owner of teh esltablishment gave me a great deal on everything, the neuter was $35 and then i got 7 months of advantage AND a micrchip put in. (so that added to the cost, but he was super nice, he gave me the microchip free, and a month of advantage free).... go to teh facility and talk to the staff there to gage whether you are comfortable getting youre baby fixed at their facility.
