Yes, the optimum is to be able to stay home before you begin a breeding program. In 2 1/2 hours your girl can become eclamptic and die......a pup can be sat on and sufficated. Just recently on YT a member left for the store and when she came back the pup was dead.

But, if that isn't possible, then maybe there is a possibility of having someone to be with her while you're not. This time is very critical and things happen at a moments notice.
