I'm a proud mommy of an 8 mo. old yorkie named Nyxxi (rhymes with pixie). I've had her for only 2 mo., but it seems like it's been longer. She was a belated birthday gift from my sister-in-law and because I've never had a pet before I was initially apprehensive about it. However once I met her I was in love... My husband is a total animal person and he's had pets growing up so I had confidence in his guidance as we embark on this new journey of owning our first pet together. And what makes her extra special is, she was gifted to me the day after my brother passed away from cancer. I held her as I cried and all she did was lean her head on my shoulder and it comforting, it was enough. She's brought so much laughter and happiness that I can never see our lives without her.
Anyway, I love going through the threads and thankful for all the great information I've found so far.
