Tax-exempt facilities (IE those with religious affiliations) may provide more ready access to such care, as they view it as reciprocity for their tax exemption. To the extent that you have a religious affiliated hospital nearby, I would start there
Based on your description of his condition it sounds like your son requires IMMEDIATE care, and it is care he is entitled to receive, please get him to a facility quickly!!
