Ooooh, now that's not always true! If I recall correctly, you got some rather harsh comments as a newer member/breeder after bringing up some unpopular breeding practices way back when. Luckily, you managed to tough it out stick around and learn from it. Just like lots of others have done. I think that sometimes people who are "chased off" because they didn't like what they heard more than likely never intended to stay around and learn anything to begin with.
In any event, the OP asked questions and got some very informative, respectful replies...then a few posts later responded upset because people 'jumped on her without knowing all the facts.' No one had been "nasty" at that point, but when people are posting up, trying to offer honest advice and help someone and then get that kind of attitude thrown back at them, you can be that the "tone" of the conversation is likely to change.
