As an experienced breeder; impossible to guesstimate the size a yorkie will be as an adult. So much depends on the lines this pup comes from. I've had yorkies that at 8 weeks are 3 pounds, grow very fast as pups then stop and adult weight is 5 pounds. Others that have been small and then have growth spurts and turn out on to be on the larger size. Bone density factors in alot. Pups at a young age have a lot of milk fat.....

I will say in my line 2 pounds at 8 weeks is pretty average. The only way you can be sure of a pups size is to purchase it when it's older at approximately 7 to 8 months of age.
