puppies can get their rabies vaccine as young as 4 months old. with our yorkies being so small tho a lot of people like to wait till they are at least 6 months or they wait until they get spayed/neutered at do it then.
Morgan had her's done at 18.5 weeks old. she got it 2 weeks after her last puppy distemper combo at 16 weeks. no problems with her.
a lot of the time after a rabies vaccines you will notice the puppy is lethargic. there may also be a small lump at the inject site (right thigh) for a few days-weeks which will eventually go away.
