1. I want to get her groomed because she looks a little shaggy. The breeder gave her 3 rounds of vaccinations, but the vet said she should have another round at 16 weeks old.....He said studies have shown that the shots do not last a complete year unless the puppy has had a round at 16 weeks old. What are your thoughts?
she's 14.5 weeks old and she's had 3 vaccines so far. So the breeder must have started them early. typically for the vaccines to have an effect they must be started at 8 weeks (some prefer 9-10 weeks old to start). then they would get another at 12 weeks and another at 16 weeks.

2. Do I need to get her kennel cough before I take her to get groomed? The groomer's pets are all vaccinated for kennel cough and she said she makes sure that no one comes into her shop that has a sneezing and coughing dog. She also said she would trim the ears to try and help her hold them up. If she was any cuter, I don't think I could stand it!!!!
its up to you whether or not you want to get her vaccinated for kennel cough. i'm a groomer and bring morgan with me to the shop sometimes. she is not vaccinated for kennel cough because the vaccine isn't 100% effective. she could have the vaccine but still get kennel cough. there are a lot of different strains of KC but the vaccine is only effective against a couple of them.

3. I also found an holistic dog food at Petco called Nutro Ultra. The first ingredient is Chicken Meal, Whole Brown Rice, Ground Rice, Rice Bran, Lambb Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, Chicken Fat, soybean oil, fruits, veggies, etc etc. Anyone heard of this?

Thanks for your input!
i agree that nutro isn't a good food. many dogs have gotten sick from it. personally i do not like eukanuba/iams corporation either. wellness and solid gold ARE sold at petco
