The 1.8 means, you can open your aperture wide...alllllll the way open to f1.8 - and then you'll have lots of "bokeh" (blurred background). On the other end, if you close your aperture down say to f15 - you have a teensy opening and everything will be in focus (like for landscapes).
The flash is just for Nikons - but if you look here, you'll get an idea of what we're talking about. I wonder what the Canon equiv. would be for an attachable, small flash....anyone? |
Hey Ann- yes it is a 1.8- I have a Canon- so i imagine it would be a Canon 50 mm- but again- i know NOTHING. i have been messing around with it. Here are a few I took of Layla- i'm in LOVE with this camera and I know i'm not even using it to its full potential yet!
