This is one of those "thats why good breeders don't let you take a puppy home before 12 weeks" things.

Yes, tiny dogs do require some extra effort, but part of what you are experiencing is that your dog should not have left its mother for another 2 weeks. That extra time with mom really helps the little guys out. They are NOT retrievers, they need the extra time, to get past hypoglycemia issues, learn manners from their mom and littermates, and to ultimately mature just a bit more to catch up with their larger cousins.

things should level off, but the level of parasites and the age you were allowed to have your pup makes me question the breeder and if you might have issues later on down the line.

Good luck....and remember, they are just like infants at this point. The need fed, walked, cared for the same way a newborn would.
