yes! I went on a long weekend trip to Idaho to see my dad and my DH said that Gunnar kept looking out the front window for me. Every time a car door shut he ran to the window. Gunnar didn't want to leave the living room (with the front window), so my DH stayed on the couch and Gunnar slept in his little bed next to the couch. I had a nice greeting when I got home and he didn't leave my lap.
