My Lucy Would run out our front door when we would come home.. She ran out and jumped in a neighbors car (they were going out) and the next time I did not even realize she had gotten out.. my parents were dropping me off after spending the day with them and caught her. I had closed the door and was going upstairs when they knocked on the door and handed her to me. I don't even want to think about what could have happened had they not seen her.. Well, after that, we ALWAYS made sure we had a baby gate up so she could not get out.. It is always better to be safe than sorry, so LEASHES ON!
Your little one can still enjoy her walk..
