I don't know if your post was directed towards mine or not. They are very much known for doing that, killing big dogs too, not just little. I would never willingly let my dog around horses off-leash ever, they're untrustworthy (the horses and the dogs). You never know what they will do and obviously, a Horse is a gazillion times bigger than a Yorkie or any dog for that matter. However; I don't think there's anything wrong with letting them check each other out, smell each other, on leash and in a safe environment. I try to expose Jackson to everything he possibly can and he doesn't really have any barking issues when it comes to new things because of this fact....
