I have read the posts on here about kennel cough and collapsed trachea and am not sure what is going on with Rebel.

Rebel is 3 1/2 months old, we went away for the weekend and Rebel stayed at home with my daughter, she told me on Friday night he started coughing, hacking, gagging a few times when he went to bed that night. She said she doesn't remember him doing it on Saturday night.

We came home yesterday afternoon and he was in the kitchen and started doing, I didn't think much of it just thought he perhaps he had a little something stuck and got it out. That is when she told me he did this Friday night. When we went to bed last night, he started doing it again, almost like a wheeze, honk, gag, retch and then it stops. He did this about three times perhaps about 15 mins to 1/2 hour and then stopped and slept form midnight to 6:00 am and then did it again about 3 times. When he is up, he is fine, he runs, he plays, he aggravates his mommy and he is eating fine.

He was at the vets on September 30th and did received his bordatella vaccine. Also, the rest of my furbabies also get the vaccine, they have no coughs or anything. They have not been by any other dogs. I did read that the incubation time for kennel cough is 2 to 14 days, does it sound like he could have contacted this at the vet's?

Thoughts???

I am going to also call my vet and see what he thinks.
