I have 2 male yorkies, ages 6 months and 5 months. I keep my puppies in a crate attached to an exercise pen during the night and if we are not home. (for their safety). First thing in the morning I take them outside to do their busy. The rest of the day they will use their pads if unable to go outside. I keep 2 pads in the living room downstairs and 2 in a bedroom upstairs. If they poo on the pads I get a small treat. The only problem that I have had housebreaking 2 pups at the same time is I can't tell who had the accident unless I see them. But mostly they do very well. The pads are great during cold and rainy weather.
