Cindy, contrary to all I've ever said, you are nice!

Other secrets for keeping them warm in winter: Keep them moving. Just like an athlete who runs in cold weather dressed in Spandex (not me), they can stay warm by generating body heat.

If you're carrying him, see if you can find a fleece pouch to sling over your neck and stuff him in. Tuck it inside your coat for added warmth.

If you can find some simple booties, it's worth a try to see if you can get him to tolerate them. I find that booties, just a simple fleece sack, make more of a difference than a coat when they're walking.
