Bordatella and parainfluenza are different.
A parainfluenza vaccine wouldn't really cause these cold symptoms.

While it isn't something that any owner wants to do because of $$$, there are ER vets in most areas of the US in Canada or an emergency number that you can call so your vet will come in and start treatment. Because very seriously, it is impossible to predict what might happen. If he continues to have bloody stool or a lot of diarrhea after you go to bed, by morning it may be too late. It just isn't a good situation.

It is important to always have an emergency vet's number handy so that you can at least call to see if they think the problem is urgent or if it can wait.
