Most breeders deworm their pups even with a negative fecal to be safe. Pups should have testing done to make sure none of these yuckies are present. If your pup hasn't had a fecal or deworming, one or the other (depending on your vet) should be done immediately. That may or may not be the cause of the diarrhea though. There are so many possibilities.
