All I have here to look at is the sample sized bags. If "country of origin" is on it anywhere, it's too small for my old eyes to read

HOWEVER, the bags are also written in French, which would indicate a good possibility that it was made in Canada. I think they have a law there that anything that would be sold in Quebec has to be written in French, also (because that's what they speak there ...)

So, I don't know exactly where it was manufactured, but if it was Canada, *I'd* still consider it "safe".
