You're lucky that yours aren't jumpers, but for the one that does jump, how big is he? Just because you haven't seen LP yet, doesn't mean that he won't get it. Some LP is hereditary and if you see a high grade in the first few months, it's usually due to genetics, however for many Yorkies, it due to constant stress on these tiny joints. My son's dog is a little over 7 pounds, and I notice when he jumps off the couch, he's really not jumping far because his body is long enough to take him half way to the ground, but for Joey at 5 ½ pounds it makes a much bigger difference.
