Ok, here's the scoop -- hubby went to visit a neighbor and came home with a 21' cabin cruiser. The boat had been left out in the weather for several years and needed extensive repair -- in fact hubby stripped it all the way down to the fiberglass shell. He plans to have the boat completely rebuilt by spring.
The boat is ocean worthy and we plan to do some extensive travels this coming year -- the plan is to haul the boat to South Georgia, drop the boat in the water and off we go. If all goes well

we will navigate around the coast and explore the Keys and if things go even better

we will be able to find where we left our truck and trailer

.
The question I have is..... when you are out on the water and NEED a Starbucks, how do you find a "drive through". Hubby has a lot of experience with boats (long time ago) but none with long trips..... and my only experience was very limited -- childhood trips.
So.... if you have any advice as to where/how to get navigational charts and maps, and/or know of what to ask for or classes to take, please let me know. Any and all advice would be appreicated.
