I do use one on my babies because I hear noise with a stethascope but I can't make anything out. It's awesome to hear the heartbeats but also the uterine sounds! Just make sure you get the gel that needs to be used with it or you will get horrible static sounds (I've done that and scared the poor mommas)! I got mine off of ebay, mine is "hibebe". It's ok but it didn't come with the gel and it didn't come with the instruction book so I'm still working with it. It was easy to get the heartbeat on this last litter because there was only one, I started using it on another litter back in April but there was 4 in there and I couldn't make out the different heartbeats.
