good question...
Maggie is completely against them. However, recently, when we leave the apartment we've been putting her in the kitchen. We put a wee pad down in the corner thinking, "she prob. wont use it, but at least we tried". To our surprise, if she has to go when we're gone... she'll go on it. The only thing i can think of is that she really likes peeing on the carpet... it's soft and warm compared to the tile. Soooo, her only option besides tile in the kitchen is the pad. I wish I could use them all the time, because my life would be much easier. I just can't make her understand it except for when she's locked in the kitchen.
