Couple things:

1. Potty training - I agree probably too much freedom. Pick a room, block it off and lay down blankets until 100% trained. You can remove and wash the blankets until trained.

2. Baileys eyes water and goober up and I just keep them clean. We have eye cleaner that I use every other day. Its not so bad now that allergy season is over. In any event, her eyes have never smelled.
