I can see why they would need to drink less because the raw has plenty of water in it, but I'm not sure why they need to pee less, maybe his bladder is just naturally growing and stretching a little? Or maybe he was overdrinking water before, and now he doesn't feel the need. Kidneys may not to have to work as hard, but I'm not sure if this would result in reduced urine output. I think this is usually a good sign, not a bad sign.
