I am so sorry to hear that your little girl has been through so much already. We are all here for you to keep that from happening again. So any questions that you have, ask away.
I want to say thank you to you for giving her a loving home. The more quality time you can spend with Sage the better your relationship will become. She needs you to teach her what you want from her. So start out with training sessions and walks to build that bond.
Are you enrolled in a dog training class? If they're too much, I can understand, I suggest you read the training session of YT and learn what others have experienced with their Yorkies. Remember they are terrier, which can be very active so Sage may not just be a couch potato, but she will be your best friend
