I've never had teacup comments...Twinkle is about 13lb now, but Wicket who is 8lb is generally considered 'tiny' by strangers....although of course they always have a friend/mum/sister/cousin-twice-removed who has a smaller one
The comments that get me is the 'that's not a real dog' type comments - especially used when my husband is walking them. He normally replies, 'men get huge dogs to compensate for smaller things - this is the reverse'
