Hey, y'all. I'm Debbie from rural west TN. I'm 57 and a retired junior high math teacher. My husband is 60 and a retired state environmentalist. We married late in life (first marriages for us both) at 35 and 38 and we are still adjusting after 22 years...LOL

Our Yorkie, Taffy, brought the sunshine back into our lives after we'd lost both sets of parents. Having no children and finding ourselves retired from the professions that had been our lives, we were stale and stagnant until Taffy decided to "own" us.

Now we greet the day wondering what adventures Miss Priss (aka the Diva, aka Taffy) will cheerfully and purposely march us into. What was once an aging household has regained its energetic, enthusiastic outlook due to a bouncy, happy-go-lucky Yorkie that has changed our lives forever.
